UEFA has fired EURO 2024 referee Jesus Gil Manzano for a major error in the France-Austria match.

In France’s 1-0 win over Austria, his lone match in Germany, Mr. Jesus Gil Manzano was disqualified from EURO 2024 for holding the whistle incorrectly.

In the 35th minute, Gil Manzanо granted France a gоal kιck while Austria needed a cоrner kιck, оne оf his wоrst mistakes. Austria cоnceded 3 minutes later оn Max Wоber’s оwn gоal.

On the pitch, Mr Gil Manzano couldn’t control player collisions.

Statistics show the aforementioned match featured 24 fouls, the most in the group stage. Five Austrians and two Frenchmen received yellow cards from Mr. Gil Manzano.
