DAVID Beckham is taking his love of the countryside to the next level by submitting plans to build a garage for his fleet of tractors.

The retired footballer, 46, has filed for permission to add a double garage to the grounds of his £6million Cotswolds home exclusively for his garden toys.

His application states: “The proposed garden machinery store is to be used solely in association with the main dwelling house.

“It will serve as a machinery store for tractors, lawn mowers and other machinery required to manage the garden and grounds”

Becks is also keen to add a wooden office to the property, which blends seamlessly into the surrounding countryside.
