Despite the Lakers’ poor start to the season, Russell Westbrook isn’t letting it get to him—he and his family visited the Happiest Place on Earth.
The Lakers, who were off this past Friday against the Clippers, had the entire weekend off, which gave Russ the ideal chance to spend time with his family.
On Sunday, Westbrook and his spouse, Nina, brought their children to Disneyland in Anaheim, where they had fun on a few of the attractions at the well-known theme park. Indeed, they also had mouthwatering Churros.
The Lakers player was a front-row passenger on the Radiator Spring Racers (see photo below). The 33-year-old also visited Marvel Land at the recently opened California Adventures Park, where he rode the new Web Slingers Spider-Man ride.
Despite a season beset by injuries and a lack of chemistry, the former UCLA star has been beaming ever since being moved to his hometown Lakers.
Naturally, Russ is hardly the first famous person to visit Disneyland. Numerous A-list celebrities, including Trey Songz, Nick Cannоn, Mario Lopez, Halle Berry, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, and Nick Cannоn, have visited the park.
Kobe Bryant, who adored the park, has a soft spot for Disney throughout the years.
When Russ and the Lakeshow play the Celtics at Staples on Tuesday, they aim to return to winning ways.
