On Thursday night, the Los Angeles Lakers were defeated 128-110 by the Golden State Warriors in the absence of LeBron James due to an ankle ιnjury.

The Warriors held the Lakers to a three-game losing skid in the second half due to their inability to maintain the pace.

The two teams played to a scoreless first half, but the Warriors drew away in the second quarter to claim a 67-56 halftime advantage. The Warriors maintained their lead throughout the second half and ultimately secured a relatively effortless victory.

In contrast to their previous encounter, this matchup lacked excitement. Many consider that game to be the finest of the season; the Lakers prevailed in overtime by a narrow 145-44 margin. Of course, LeBron’s presence at that time was beneficial.

As is customary for the Warriors, Steph Curry took the lead. He finished the game with eight assists and 32 points, 25 of which came in the first half. Trayce Jackson-Davis, a newcomer, emerged victorious with 17 points, five rebounds, and one assist, while Andrew Wiggins concluded in second place with 20 points, three rebounds, and two assists.

Anthony Davis lead the Lakers in scoring with 27 points, in addition to contributing 15 rebounds and providing one assist. After Russell, D’Angelo, contributed five assists, eleven rebounds, and eighteen points.
