Jhené Aiko buys $7M mansion, which is covered with fruit trees

Jhené Aiko recently received the keys to a new home in the same picturesque mountain-view neighborhood, despite already owning an East Coast traditional property in a gated Pacific Palisades neighborhood and her longtime partner Big Sean owning a French Normandy-style mansion in Encino.

The early 1980s-built residences, which now boast five bedrooms and an equal number of bathrooms spread across nearly 4,700 square feet of two-level living space, were purchased by the Grammy-nominated R&B singer for a little over $5.6 mιllιon, according to records.

The new Ring Alarm system-protected, cream-colored stucco and terracotta-roof building is nestled away on more than half an acre of ground. It is surrounded by a porch with an arched entryway and an attached three-car garage. A formal living room with a two-way fireplace, custom storage, and a vaulted wood-beam ceiling is located inside. On the other side of the room, a family room with a wet bar and French doors leading outside is located.

Other notable features on the main floor include a dining room with a mural and a gourmet kitchen with an eat-in island, brand-new Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, a walk-in pantry, and an adjacent breakfast nook. While four bedrooms are located on the top level, including a master retreat with a fireplace, two walk-in closets, and a bathroom with a built-in soaking tub, the downstairs area also has an en-suite bedroom that is being used as an office.

The backyard, which is dotted with palm, olive, and fruit trees, also has a recently resurfaced sport court, a newly built pool and spa, a fire pit on either side, and an al fresco eating area supported by an outdoor kitchen.
