Manchester United XI vs Aston Villa: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup and ιnjury latest

Erik ten Hag has to make a big choice about the defense as Manchester United gets ready to play Aston Villa on Sunday.

United easily beаt West Ham in their last game, making it five games in a row without losing in any tournament. However, Lisandro Martinez had to leave the game because of a knee ιnjury.

The center back will be out for at least two months, but United is sure he’ll be back before the end of the season.

While Ten Hag thinks about how to substitute Martinez, Luke Shaw could move into the middle of defense.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s health is in question after the right back had a setback in training on Thursday.

Seven days before the game, Ten Hag told reporters, “Aaron Wan-Bissaka was training today but then he dropped out. I don’t know where he is right now or what the diagnosis is.”

“I hope he’s not too bad.”

If Wan-Bissaka doesn’t play, Shaw is likely to stay at left back. Diogo Dalot is the only other fit full-back and plays on the right side of defense.

Mason Mount and Tyrell Malacia are still not ready to play for United again, and Anthony Martial is still not ready to play either.

Rasmus Hojlund, who has scored in four of his last five Premier League games, is expected to lead the аttаck. Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho, who are both in good form, will play either side of him.
