Before being replaced by Brahim Diaz with the score still 0-0, Vinicius dribbled the ball three times, passed 18 times, and shot three times.

Earlier, Antonio Sanchez and Samu Costa had given Mallorca two chances to score against Madrid.

But in the 78th minute, Luka Modric got the only goal for the home team from a corner kιck.

That goal was scored by Antonio Rudiger with a header. He now has three goals in La Liga.

Viıa had not played for Real Madrid since November 11, when he scored twice in a 5-1 win over Valencia.

Six days later, while playing for Brazil, the 23-year-old hurt his leg.

After that, Vinicius missed seven Madrid games and just got back this week.

The win on Wednesday kept Madrid on top of the table.
