MARCUS RASHFORD has vowed to repair his fractured relationship with Erik ten Hag after the Dutchman was confirmed as Manchester United manager for next season.
The shot-shy forward scored just eight goals last season for the Red Devils and put in a string of underwhelming performances.

Ten Hag will remain as Manchester United manager ahead of next season
He also angered his manager by going out partying twice – once after a crushing defeat by Man City in the derby and then going on a two-day bender in Belfast, ahead of a crucial FA Cup tie against Newport.
He rang in sick for training before footage emerged of him leaving a nightclub in the early hours.
His behaviour resulted in the star being fined two weeks of his £350,000-wages.
His poor form saw Gareth Southgate leave him out of his provisional 33-man Euro 2024 squad, leaving Rashford “stunneԀ”, according to a source.
But the move and the announcement Ten Hag will remain in control at Old Trafford has reinvigorated Rashford, who scored 30 goals during the 2022/23 season.
The source said: “Marcus knew his position within Gareth’s Euros squad was at rιsk as he has struggled this season, but he was really stunneԀ to not even make the 33.
“He thought he had enough credit in the bank.”
After being left out, Rashford then announced he was taking a break from social media and Һit out at fans who have criticised him.
He tweeted: “It’s time to come off socials for a few weeks. I plan to rest and reset mentally after a challenging season individually and collectively.
“Thanks to the fans that stood by me through a difficult period. To the ones that didn’t, just remember at United, we always stick together.”

The source added that Rashford was pleased ten Hag was staying at Old Trafford – despite the pair barely being on speaking terms at times during a difficult campaign.
“Marcus knows one thing with ten Hag and that is that he really rates him. He knows he’s underperformed big time but has been telling his friends that he’s coming back strong this next season.
“He knows a new manager could have come in and got rid of him. He doesn’t want to go anywhere and wants to get back to his best.”
