William Saliba, an Arsenal defender, is reportedly attracting interest from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain during this summer’s transfer window, according to CaughtOffside.

Real Madrid’s top center-back targets are Saliba and Lille sensation Leny Yoro, while PSG might be prepared to part with Milan Skriniar to create space for Arsenal’s star player.

Despite the Gunners’ unwillingness to sell the French star, Saliba’s demand is understandable after a few years of world-class performances for Arsenal.

Arsenal performed a fantastic job of “tying down” important players like Ben White, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, and Saliba when they were needed to help Man City win the Premier League. Mikel Arteta’s club is in desperate need of a successful summer transfer window after missing out on the championship the previous year.

It’s hard to turn down Real Madrid’s invitation, though. It will be intriguing to observe whether Saliba is set on remaining in the Emirates or not. Alternatively, he can decide to go back home and play for PSG, a wealthy and aspirational squad.
