The intensity is rising thanks to Lupita Nyong’o and Joshua Jackson!
During an extended birthday trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, on Monday, the actors were seen cuddling up to celebrate Nyong’o’s 41st birthday.
The two were seen going into the ocean together in pictures that PEOPLE was able to obtain, and in another, they were seen cuddling up by the surf and almost kissing. Additionally, the couple stayed close, holding hands and strolling in their swimwear along the beach.
For Lupita’s birthday, they took a vacation to Puerto Vallarta, an insider tells PEOPLE. Throughout the weekend, all they could see was each other. They were laughing, kissing, and generally having the greatest time.”
Following their sighting at a Janelle Monáe concert in Los Angeles in October 2023, Jackson, 45, and Nyong’o were romantically associated. With other acquaintances from Hollywood, the now-couple gave the appearance of being on a platonic outing to the performance.
Following Jackson’s divorce from wife Jodie Turner-Smith, who filed for divorce in early October, there was a sighting. Regarding the decision to file for divorce, a source previously told that “they are on very different paths in life” and that “it turned into an unhealthy marriage that made her unhappy.”
