Kylian Mbappe today unveiled his waxwork statue at a Madame Tussauds pop-up event

Mbappe laughed and smiled at the figure standing in front of him, before stepping forward to take a closer examination, seemingly prodding his wax double’s eyebrows before poking it in the ear.
The winger, who has also been named in Forbes’ top ten highest-paid athletes for 2024, reportedly called the statue ‘sensational’ while joking: ‘It’s more Kylian than I am!’
It comes after Mbappe recently confirmed that he would be leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer when his contract at the French giants expires.
It has widely been expected that Mbappe would leave, after he had previously snubbed the offer of a contract to stay at the Ligue 1 champions.
He was also denied a fairytale ending at PSG too after Borussia Dortmund knocked his side out of the Champions League – the one trophy that has seemingly eluded Mbappe during his seven-year spell at the club.

The 25-year-old stepped closer to inspect the waxwork, which he claimed was ‘sensational’
He also joked that it was ‘more Kylian than I am’ while adding: ‘It is 100 per cent me!’
He recently declared his intention to depart PSG at the conclusion of the current season, potentially relocating to Real Madrid.According to Le Parisian, the Frenchman and PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi were overheard “yelling at each other” as they convened to discuss his departure from the club after seven years. Real Madrid seems to be the most probable destination for the French superstar, who is reportedly willing to accept a salary reduction to join the Spanish giants.
