And, following a quiet start to Real Madrid’s evening, the aforementioned Bellingham has assumed center stage once more.

The Englishman opened the score in the capital of Spain by sending a superb pass from Toni Kroos into the far corner behind him.

Bellingham created even more history for himself in the process.

The 20-year-old has scored the fourth-most league goals of any Real Madrid player in their first season of the twenty-first century, according to Opta data.

Aside from that, he leads all players on the list in goals scored with 19, including the renowned trio of Ronaldo Nazário, Ruud van Nistelrooy, and Cristiano Ronaldo.
