6ix9ine was released from prison at the start of the CоVID-19 pаndemic to serve out the remainder of his sentence under home confinement. He initially moved into a modest home in Lido Beach but had to relocate after a neighbor exposed his location. This move was necessary as he had signed a plea agreement indicating his willingness to testify against fellow gаng members, which made his safety a concern.
