A video showed King Felipe VI of Spain exiting a car and introducing himself to the Madrid Open organizers before entering the stadium while play was still in progress was posted on X, the previous Twitter platform, by Tennis TV.

Football players Vinicius Jr. and Zinedine Zidane, both from France and Real Madrid, were featured in another video that the ATP Tour posted on X. They were observed observing from the bleachers.

After the match, Nadal spoke with Sky Sports and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to face a player of Alex de Minaur’s caliber. Due to injuries, the Spanish footballer had surgery in 2023 and has missed a few games this season. He declared he would take things one step at a time and expressed confidence in his physical condition.

“I’m excited to go up against a player of Alex de Minaur’ caliber. My body has been the main issue rather than tennis. If I succeed in playing tennis, I’ll see how far I can go. “I’ll see how I improve gradually,” he remarked.
