Although Bruno Fernandes has stated he is content at Manchester United, he has acknowledged that he would consider leaving after Euro 2024.
Under Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the Red Devils are expected to undergo a significant summer makeover.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the club is open to offers for all players save Rasmus Hojlund, Kobbie Mainoo, and Alejandro Garnacho.
This suggests that, should an offer be made, the team would consider selling the Manchester United captain.
With two years left on his deal, Fernandes is a player who Erik ten Hag has found to be particularly noteworthy this season.
This season in the Premier League, he has tallied ten goals and seven assists.
Speaking with DAZN Portugal about his future, Fernandes stated, “I’m not thinking about other things at the moment.”
It’s obvious that it depends on more than just me. A player must always want to be here, but you must also want him to stay. I feel like there’s that right now on both sides.
“Obviously, this season hasn’t been at the caliber I’d hoped for, either individually or collectively, thus far, so I’m not worrying too much about the future.
“We still have the chance to win the [FA] Cup to cap off the season. There’s a crucial Euros coming up after that.
To be perfectly honest, nothing will be able to divert my attention from the FA Cup final and the Euros at this point, so if I have to consider quitting the Premier League, it won’t be till after the Championship.
After moving from Sporting Lisbon to Manchester United in January 2020, Fernandes was named club captain in the summer of 2020, taking Harry Maguire’s place.
