After yet another terrible performance in their 1-1 draw with Burnley, Aaron Wan-bisaka’s position at Manchester United appears to be in jeopardy.
Harry Maguire, on the other hand, produced yet another strong defensive performance prior to Zeki Amdouni’s late foul, which resulted in a penalty kιck and a point for Burnley.
After 79 minutes, Antony scored his first Premier League goal in over a year, calming some concerns at Old Trafford.
However, Vincent Kompany’s team had a better start and finished with 16 shots to force a draw that puts them just one point below Luton.
Amdouni’s excellent penalty kιck in the 87th minute gave Burnley an equalizer, while Onana was the one who made numerous huge saves.
Neil Custis of SunSport has graded the performance of the United players.
Andre Onana (6)
The Cameroon international made many outstanding reaction saves, not the least of which was to stop a point-blank header from Lyle Foster in the 34th minute.
He foolishly took out Amdouni, though, which cost his team a penalty and all three points.
Wan-Bissaka, Aaron – 5
Having difficulty regaining his best play, both defensively and in terms of providing the midfield and аttаck with support.
Casemiro: 7
asked to assume a center-back position once more, as he did against Sheffield United and at Wembley last Saturday.
performed admirably with Maguire to hold Burnley at bay until the final penalty.
Harry Maguire, aged eight
is setting a great example for guys who doubt their ability to succeed in this team.
Even when everyone is fit, he still has a place and deserves it.
Diogo Dalot: 7
Although United’s season hasn’t been the best, Dalot would rank among the top players of the year.
Mainoo Kobbie – 6
Although he has received a great deal of praise, it is evident that he is not yet ready for a regular starting position.
Even so, there were still jeers at the choice to remove him.
Eriksen Christian – 6
Over the previous two seasons, the 32-year-old Norwegian has been a valuable member of the team. However, these will be his last few matches with United.
Antony: 7
Had hardly accomplished anything during the game until, with just over ten minutes remaining, he pounced on a misplaced pass, displaying incredible balance to finish for the victory.
Six Alejandro Garnacho
Not at all his best this time. did not focus on the task at hand sufficiently, and when he did, the result was lacking.
Bruno Fernandes: 8
The player of the season for the Red Devils. Always ready to go, always willing to pass the ball and receive it back.
He’s a captain, so forget the criticism; he sets the example.
Hojlund Rasmus – 6
Would someone kindly try passing to him every now and then?
It makes sense that his frustration with his teammates’ lack of support has been growing.
did a good job of staying on when substituted.
Subs: 6; Amad Diallo 65′ (in place of Hojlund)
brought a little vigor to the United team when he entered.
Mainoo’s Scott McTominay 65′ – 6
This time, he fell short of living up to his supersub tag.
Eriksen’s Sofyan Amrabat 81′ – 6
For the Moroccan who performed admirably in the most recent World Cup, the loan period hasn’t been the best.
