The midfielder, who was playing center back out of position, put on a great display.
His excellent ball distribution demonstrated why having a strong foothold on the ball is crucial for defenders.

Compared to his last appearance, this was a far more logical move from the former Crystal Palace player.
5/10 for Christian Eriksen
The cut-back that allowed Sheffield United to score their second goal should have been blocked by him.
7/10 for Kobbie Mainoo
While Eriksen filled in as a number six, the eighteen-year-old played in a more advanced position. He received credit for an assist on Fernandes’ incredible goal and had some excellent link-up play.
9/10 for Bruno Fernandes
Bruno Fernandes gave a captain’s performance.
He leveled the score for United for the second time with a powerful penalty kιck. To give his team the lead, he pulled strings in the midfield and scored an incredible long-range goal.
He skillfully set up the goal for Rasmus Hojlund, thus his night was far from over.
7/10 for Alejandro Garnacho
The youthful player missed two excellent scoring opportunities that would have eased the hosts’ early fears. He had an exceptional defensive effort rate when needed.
Antony: 5 out of 10.
Despite playing a significant role in the first half, the Brazilian produced no results. Ten Hag was right when he hooked him up before the hour had passed.

Although Hojlund was still having trouble up front, the late goal would have given him more self-assurance.
