Supporters of Manchester United believe that after their team made a mistake in the FA Cup final, their players were too “ashamed” to celebrate.
The Red Devils blew a 3-0 lead in the final 20 minutes at Wembley and had to use penalties to overcome Coventry City.
With the winning penalty, Rasmus Hojlund guaranteed Manchester United’s place in the FA Cup final.
To rejoice with the Man Utd supporters, he fled.
The only person who seemed to join him in celebrating was Christian Eriksen as he turned back to his teammates.
For the majority of the match, United appeared to be in control, but three late goals from Ellis Simms, Callum O’Hare, and Haji Wright for Coventry undid all of their hard work.
And Victor Torp’s FA Cup winning goal in the 121st minute was nearly nullified by VAR when it was decided that the tip of his toe was offside. This effectively ended Erik ten Hag’s chances of winning the match in extra time.
Man Utd had an opportunity to save face during the penalty shootout, and they succeeded in doing so when Rasmus Hojlund’s penalty kιck was converted to set up a Manchester derby FA Cup final.

The Manchester United players couldn’t even enjoy winning on penalties. When Hojlund turned around, none of his teammates could be seen trailing him.
However, United supporters believe that the players were too ashamed of how they had won to properly rejoice, since they saw that just one star reeled away with Hojlund to celebrate his 12-yard game-winning touchdown.
The Danish player appeared to be sharing the excitement with his fellow countryman Christian Eriksen on camera, despite the fact that he was clearly beaming as he celebrated the occasion with United’s visiting supporters.
While some celebrities displayed more restrained joy, online admirers undoubtedly observed the peculiar response.
“Why on earth has only Eriksen gone over to celebrate with Hojlund???” was one of the comments made.
“Kinda sad that nobody ran over to Hojlund there,” said another.
“United players too ashamed to celebrate ,” remarked a third. Hojlund turned around and said, “I’m done. There’s nobody behind me.”
A fourth laughed, saying, “I was crying at that.” Eriksen was the only one approaching him, so he assumed the entire team was coming.
Following their May appointment to perform again beneath the famous arch, fans weren’t the only ones who felt that Ten Hag and Company were being distant.
Roy Keane, a former Manchester United legend, attacked the team on ITV Sport, calling them “embarrassed” to have won.
“I think the United players and the supporters weren’t really going over the top with the celebrations,” the retired midfielder remarked.
“Because they are aware of how fortunate they were today. They nearly looked embarrassed to win in the end even though they should have lost the game 3-0.
“Every time I see this United team, I don’t like what I see,” he continued.
They play for little periods of time and are difficult to like.
We frequently discuss leadership and character, but in this United group, I don’t see any of those things.
“A Championship team doesn’t have any chance to come back into the game when you’re up 3-0 as a team in management.
“But that’s exactly what they do—they forfeit opportunities and objectives.
“My goodness, they rode their luck in the end; I don’t know why we’re that surprised, but we’ve seen it the entire season.”
No matter how they celebrate their win, Manchester United will be playing in the FA Cup final this season.
In a replay of last year’s championship game, the Red Devils will take on their raucous neighbors City in an effort to mask the frustrations of yet another disappointing season with some trophy.
Manchester United’s performance has drawn criticism from Roy Keane, who said the club was “embarrassed” to win.
