Anthony Davis’ extensive shoe collection is highlighted by the Lakers-inspired Nike Kobe 6 footwear

Anthony Davis wore new sneakers that were a nod to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Davis, the team’s center and power forward, was seen figҺting with Jalen Walker in a new video posted on Instagram on Monday. Davis was wearing bright purple Nike sneakers. The uppers of the Kobe 6 style were made of leather dots and had yellow Nike Swooshes on each side. The dark purple laces and tongues, as well as the yellow and black smooth rubber soles, made the shoes even more typical of the Los Angeles Lakers.

When Kobe Bryant signed his first contract with Nike in 1996, the star basketball player was already a Nike customer. He released his first signature shoe, the big KB8 style, with Nike in 1997. Since then, many more have been released, and the last one will be in April 2021, after he died in 2020.

The brand plans to restart Bryant’s brand at the label before August 24, which is also known as Kobe Day, and represents the two shirt numbers Bryant wore during his NBA career. Footwear News first reported on this in June.

I don’t expect an increase in availability because that scarcity model is what drives sales.” “From a normal business point of view, Nike might be taking a rιsk by making more sneakers.” Kobes wouldn’t have any extra stock or products that would need to be reduced, which is something that no company wants.
