On the road, Real Madrid took on humble Mallorca in the 31st round of La Liga. The teams came into the game positioned first and fifteenth in the respective standings.

All the same, the hosts held their own against the favorites. The first half ended in a 0-0 draw between the two sides at halfway.

But Tchouaméni’s perfect strike at the beginning of the second half gave the Royal Club the advantage. 

The Whites manipulated the score for the duration of the game, and the hosts even had opportunities to tie the score, but Andriy Lunin showed off his abilities in one of the instances.

With this victory, Real Madrid now has 78 points. With 11 points separating the two teams, Madrid is getting closer to winning the championship again.
