Sadio Mané was born in Bambali, Sédhiou, Senegal, on April 10, 1992. He plays forward for both the Senegalese national team and Bundesliga team Bayern Munich.
He plays football in professional divisions as a Senegalese footballer. His dribbling, pressure, and quickness are well recognized. He is considered as one of the greatest African players of all time and among the top players in the world.
Mané started his professional career at the age of 19 with the Metz squad in Ligue 2. But in 2012, following just one season, he relocated to Austria to play for Red Bull Salzburg.
During the 2013–14 season, Red Bull Salzburg won both the domestic league and cup. Later that summer, Mané moved to Southampton in England for a then-club-record £11.8 million.
The Sédhiou Department is one of the three departments that make up the Sédhiou Region, which was formerly a component of the Kolda Region. Senegal has forty-five departments total. The communes of Sédhiou, Marsassoum, and Diannah Malary make up the department.
