Snoop Dogg will cover the 2024 Olympic Summer Games in Paris for NBCUniversal.

The iconic rapper appeared in a commercial video with Olympians during Sunday Night Football’s Green Bay Packers-Minnesota Vikings coverage on December 31.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Snoop will give his “unique take” on Paris to NBC Olympics anchor Mike Tirico. He would also “explore the city’s iconic landmarks, attend Olympic competitions and events and make visits to the athletes, their friends and families.”

“I grew up watching the Olympics and am thrilled to see the incredible athletes bring their A-game to Paris,” Snoop told the newspaper. “It honors skill, dedication, and greatness. We’ll have great competitions, and I’ll bring my Snoop style.”

He added: “It will be the most epic Olympics ever, so stay tuned and locked. Elevate, celebrate, and make these games unique. Smoke the competition and let the greatest shine gold. Peace and Olympic love, OK?

NBC Olympics Production executive producer and president Molly Solomon said: “Snoop is already an Olympic gold medal commentator, generating tens of milliоns of views for his highlights commentary on Peacock of the dressage competition during the Tokyo Olympics. Snoop became our Paris Special Correspondent just for that performance.

We don’t know what will happen every day, but we know he will bring his distinctive viewpoint to our reinvented Olympic primetime show.”
