Following Brazil’s victory over England, Vinicius Jr. seemed to have asked Real Madrid teammate Jude Bellingham for the Premier League star’s shirt.
The South American heavyweights won at Wembley to kιck off their Copa America preparations this summer, thanks to a goal from Endrick.
The 17-year-old sensational talent scored after Vinicius Jr.’s initial shot was saved by Jordan Pickford. He did it by grabbing a rebound.
After the game, Vinicius Jr. ran into clubmate Jude Bellingham. The two had an embrace and a joke before Vinicius Jr. gave Bellingham the midfielder’s game-used shirt.
Vinicius appeared to ask Bellingham whether he wаnted anyone else’s shirt in a behind-the-scenes video that was shared on social media by the official England account. Bellingham answered, “Rice.”
Even though England lost, Rice will greatly appreciate the gesture as he has improved greatly this season.
In his five duels against Brazil, the 25-year-old won four of them and created two opportunities.
After spending £105 million to join Arsenal from West Ham, Rice has emerged as one of the Premier League’s biggest acquisitions of the year.
He has been a constant in midfield for his new team, leading them to the Champions League quarterfinals and another Premier League title challenge.
Rice will look to assist the Three Lions defeat Belgium on Tuesday night in an effort to get England back to winning ways.
