Step into Ariana Grande’s classic living space with her husband and special character

In the figurative sense, Ariana Grande has “one less problem” on her plate, or at the very least, one less high-maintenance home. According to records, the Florida-born singer-songwriter received $9.1 mιllιon for her upscale Montecito house, a significant increase over the $6.8 mιllιon she paid Ellen DeGeneres for it just two years prior. The off-market transaction was first reported by Siteline Santa Barbara.

Michael Kives, who may not be well-known but has long been a part of Hollywood’s elite, is the extravagant buyer. In addition, he is the creator of K5 Global, a venture capital firm that bills itself as a “media and financial services advisory and consulting firm.” Kives and his wife Lydia also own a $12 mιllιon property in Beverly Hills in addition to their new Montecito residence.

The home is situated on a 1.3-acre site and is surrounded by tall hedges and impressive gates. Two distinct kitchens, both with designer appliances, two indoor eating areas, two full bathrooms, and two powder rooms are among the interior features of this Narnia-like home. All rooms have vaulted ceilings, and the floors are a combination of brick, stone, and concrete. A designated laundry area and at least five fireplaces are also on the property.

The interiors were refurbished in DeGeneres’ distinctive design, which features a lot of milky white, deep gray, and other earth tones. The lofted master bedroom looks out into one of the house’s two living rooms, while the octagonal library has old-fashioned casement windows. For a $9.1 mιllιon home in Southern California, it’s a little odd that the property doesn’t currently have a swimming pool, but the lovely grounds more than make up for it, and the Pacific Ocean is only a short drive away.

Grande still owns two pricey properties in the Hollywood Hills, one of which is a $9 mιllιon estate in the Bird Streets neighborhood that she purchased earlier this year from Cameron Diaz. There has been no indication as of yet on whether Grande plans to buy another Montecito home. She also formerly possessed a Paul McClean-designed mansion that was sold to talent agency Nancy Josephson and movie producer Larry Sanitsky last year for $14 mιllιon.
