NBA standout Patrick Beverley puts up his Encino, CA residence for lease at $23,000 per month.
Patrick Beverley, the outspoken NBA guard, found himself parting ways with the Los Angeles Lakers during a mid-season overhaul that took place during the trade deadline.
In February, the three-time NBA All-Defensive Team member signed with the Chicago Bulls. Following this move, Beverley has recently listed his opulent Encino, CA apartment for rent.
This stunning 5-bedroom apartment, occupying a vast 5,264-square-foot space, has been attracting potential tenants with its eye-watering monthly rent of $23,000.
Built in 2020, the mansion showcases a bright and open floor plan, with design details including high vaulted ceilings, custom tilework, and wood and marble floors throughout. The upscale residence also comes equipped with surround sound speakers and a comprehensive security system.
The chef’s kitchen flaunts a stylish minimalist design with custom cabinets, a pantry, sleek stainless-steel appliances, and a large center island featuring a prep sink and breakfast bar. Sliding glass doors in the breakfast area lead to a delightful patio.
Adjacent to the kitchen, the family room is adorned with a beautiful stone fireplace, built-in bookshelves, and sliding glass walls that open to a covered poolside area.
The first floor of the apartment houses two bedrooms, while three additional bedrooms are located on the upper level. The primary suite offers a spacious retreat with white oak beamed ceilings, a tiled wall fireplace, two walk-in closets with built-in shelving, and a sliding glass door opening to a private balcony. The suite even includes an espresso machine and a refrigerator for indulging in a simple morning coffee on the balcony. The primary bathroom is equally impressive, boasting custom tilework, a double walk-in shower with accent lighting, dual vanities, a custom cabinet, and a separate soaking tub.
Moreover, the property boasts a family theater, a pool, a spa, and a poolside guest house with a 3/4 bath. Beverley purchased the home for $3.78 million back in April 2021 while playing for the Los Angeles Clippers.
At 34 years old, Beverley plans to transition to freelance work after the 2023 season with the Bulls. Having enjoyed an illustrious 11-season career in the league as a tenacious guard and formidable opponent, Beverley is exploring the possibility of catching on with a new team this summer. Should he decide to step away from the court, he may consider pursuing a career as a demand-driven sports talk show host.
