The Croatian is among the club’s all-time greats, and his contract expires at the conclusion of the current season.

BBC reports that Mbappe is nearing the completion of a five-year, £12.8 million-per-year contract with Real Madrid. In addition, he will be awarded a £128 million gratuity upon signing, payable out over a period of five years.
Mbappe has previously contemplated relocating to the Spanish metropolis and has frequently come close. Real Madrid was interested in the French player when he was a member of Monaco, but he has since signed with PSG, where the Parisians have spent a substantial amount of money to retain him.
