According to Relovo, Croatian midfielder Luka Modri will depart the club at the conclusion of this season.
The Croatian footballer’s decision to depart from Real Madrid at the conclusion of this season without extending his contract with the “royal club” has come to light.
In 2012, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez developed an interest in Luka; consequently, the club executed a five-year contract with him in exchange for an approximate £30 million transfer fee. On August 29, 2012, he debuted for the “royal club” only two days after signing the contract.
He amassed a total of five FIFA Club World Cups, three La Liga championships, two Copa del Rey triumphs, five Spanish Suρer Cups, five UEFA Champions Leagues, and five UEFA Suρer Cups during his tenure at Real Madrid.
During the 2022-23 academic year, Luka Modrić assumed the role of the team’s vice-captain.
