Miley Cyrus sold her expansive Nashville mansion over the summer for close to $15 mιllιon. Records now show that the pop star has returned to Malibu, the same beach town where she infamously resided during her marriage to Liam Hemsworth. But this time, Cyrus will be starting over in a newly renovated new home with breathtaking ocean views.
The mansion-sized Malibu home, which was constructed in 1999, is north of 6,500 square feet and has six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and one powder room. The home is also hidden away in a gated neighborhood high in the hills, hidden behind a long driveway on a sizable property that measures almost 1.5 acres.
Three automobiles can fit in the attached garage, and there is also space for additional vehicles in the motorcourt. Tax records show that the property was most recently leased out and last sold in 2018 for $5.8 mιllιon.
With modern elements like recessed LED lights and large windows that let in plenty of natural light, the Mediterranean villa-style building is uniformly white and cheerful throughout. A living room with a fireplace, a formal dining room, and a game room with a pool table are among the “three entertaining rooms” that the description refers to.
The adjacent family room has a second fireplace and direct access to a terrace with views of the whitewater, and the kitchen is well-equipped to serve all three of these areas thanks to its butler’s pantry, premium stainless appliances, and durable granite countertops.
The main suite is located upstairs and features a fireplace, sitting area, bathroom with built-in tub, and a private balcony with further panoramic views. The five guest bedrooms each have an ensuite bathroom, and at least one of them could be easily transformed into a pleasant home gym or an executive office.
The estate’s expansive lawns and lush gardens are accessible from the majority of the main rooms of the house through glass sliding doors. Backyard amenities include a heated swimming pool, an elevated spa, and a huge concrete terrace perfect for sunbathing. Even though it seems remote, the property is nevertheless close to some of Malibu’s top dining and retail areas.
