Manager Erik ten Hag has verified that LISANDRO MARTINEZ was substituted with a “very bad” ιnjury during Manchester United’s match against West Ham.
The 26-year-old center-back for the Red Devils returned from an extended period out due to ιnjury only last month.
Lisandro Martinez was substituted off the field with an apparent knee ιnjury.

However, he now faces additional time on the sidelines following his leg ιnjury during Old Trafford’s match against West Ham.
Martinez initially fell over after tussling with Vladimir Coufal for the ball.
After continuing for a few minutes, he returned to the deck and was substituted for Raphael Varane.
Ten Hag was quoted as saying that the defender “doesn’t look well” and that it is “very bad for him, very bad for the team” when questioned about him following the game.
He continued, “It appears to be a serious matter; we must await the correct diagnosis.”
“At this moment, we are filled with great sorrow; we can only pray that the situation improves in the near future.”
“He appears to be forced to miss additional games due to ιnjury.”
Harry Maguire and Martinez began the encounter together, while Varane was substituted onto the sideline.
In September, he sustained a foot ιnjury that rendered him inactive until the launch of the new year.
Midway through January, he returned as a substitute in Manchester United’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham.
Following his first Premier League start in four and a half months, which occurred in a 4-3 victory against Wolves, he participated in the FA Cup triumph over Newport.
However, concerns were raised when, late in the encounter, Martinez was observed approaching Molineux while carrying a bandaged foot, following an altercation.
Moreover, the anticipated prolonged absence of Martinez will cause even more concern among Manchester United supporters.
Since joining United from Ajax last summer, he has appeared in 54 games and recorded one goal.
Mason Mount, Anthony Martial, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are expected to accompany him on the ιnjury list as Manchester United approaches a pivotal juncture of the season.
