Anthony Davis, a star player for the Los Angeles Lakers, wants to sell his huge Westlake Village home for $7.995 million. Davis was picked up by the Lakers in a multi-player deal last year, but he will be a free agent at the end of this season. Fans are now wondering what Davis will do next after hearing about the real estate deal. During his time with the Lakers, Davis played for seven years for the New Orleans Pelicans.
The NBA player is selling a Mediterranean-style home that is 15,815 square feet and has five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms. The home is on a gated 2.33-acre lot. The Los Angeles Times says that the property has a $1 million infinity-edge pool with two waterslides, a state-of-the-art home theater, a separate guest house, a sunken trampoline, and, of course, a full-size indoor basketball court and gym with its viewing box. A long road goes up to a motor court and a five-car garage next to it. The house is partly powered by a large solar system.
The front door leads to a large, double-height hall with shiny marble floors, a crystal chandelier, and curved stairs. On the ground floor, there is also a classic study with wood panels and a fireplace, as well as a new chef’s kitchen with two islands. There is an infinity pool outside, as well as a spa fed by a waterfall, a covered kitchen, and many decks from which to enjoy the views of the hillside trees. The house was built just for Davis in 1996, and he paid $7.479 million for it in 2018.
