USA Basketball announced that LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Austin Reaves of the Los Angeles Lakers have been selected for the 2024 USA Men’s Olympic player pool.
At a later date, the final 12-man USA Basketball roster for the 2024 Olympic Summer Games in Paris will be disclosed.
The pool comprised a grand total of 41 athletes, with each participant being chosen by National Team manager Grant Hill.
Hill issued a statement via USA Basketball regarding the candidate pool upon its announcement.

Twenty-eight of the forty-one finalists have previously represented the United States in an Olympic or FIBA tournament. James and Davis most recently competed for the London Olympics-winning 2012 squad, whereas Reaves was an indispensable member of the fourth-placed 2023 FIBA World Cup squad.
