Anthony Davis says ‘everybody’ shoots well against Lakers: ‘We gotta play everybody like they’re Steph’

Davis, a star for the Los Angeles Lakers, said that “everyone” shoots well against the team.

Davis said, “No matter how many people they have, they shoot well at us.” “If someone is only shooting 10%, they’ll shoot 40% against us.” Being aware of that. When we’ve played guys, the numbers have never told us the trutҺ.

“So when they play us, we have to treat everyone like Steph Curry, because these guys, not just this team, have shot the ball well against us.”

The Suns scored 127 points against the Lakers, hitting 49.5 percent from the field and 35.9 percent from beyond the 3-point line. It was an amazing showing from an overall scoring point of view.

Bradley Beal and Devin Booker scored the most points for the Suns. The first player scored 37 points, making 14 of 21 shots from the field and 8 of 10 from 3-point range. The second player scored 31 points, grabbed five rebounds, gave five assists, and stole three balls in 34 minutes of play.

Davis and the Lakers will go on the road to play the Utah Jazz on Saturday. The Jazz are one of the hottest teams in the Western Conference. Utah had a rough start to the 2023–24 season, but they have since won eight of their last ten games and are on a three-game winning run. All three of those wins have come against tough teams.

The Lakers will play another tough team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, on January 15. Their next game will be after their game against the Jazz. The Thunder, led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren, have won their last three games. On Thursday, they beаt the Portland Trail Blazers by a score of 62 points.
