Manchester United is almost done with a deal to sign Callan McKenna, a goalie for Scotland’s Under-19 team.

Soon, the goalkeeper from Queen’s Park will be moving to Old Trafford. The Scottish Championship team could get a seven-figure payday if the 17-year-old meets several performance-related add-ons. The Daily Record reports that the starting fee will be in the six figures.

Since late September, McKenna has been hurt and hasn’t played in any of Queen’s Park’s first seven games in the second level this season.

Many teams, including Arsenal, had been keeping a close eye on the goalie. However, United looks like they will be able to sign the youngster before their Premier League foes. He will play for United’s Under-23 team if the deal goes through.
