Anthony Davis’s honest statement after the Lakers-Bulls match: Just gotta get back to having fun and playing for each other, playing together, keep competing and stay the course

The Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls met at the United Center in Illinois on Wednesday evening.  

With a 124-108 victory in the second half, the Bulls seized control of the game. 

While shooting 12/16 from the field, DeMar DeRozan led the pack with 27 points, seven rebounds, nine assists, one steаl, and one block.

Anthony Davis finished his night with 19 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks while shooting 7/15 from the field. 

After the game, he met with the media and shared an honest statement.

Davis: “Just gotta get back to having fun and playing for each other, playing together, keep competing and stay the course. It sucks to be in the losing column. We all hate losing, but we gotta find a way to get back in the win column and go from there.”

The Lakers’ first-round record was 15-13 with the defeat, placing them in eighth place in the Western Conference standings. 

They are amidst a three-game losing streak and have a record of 5-5 over their last ten contests. 

The Lakers will have a brief turnaround before their next contest at the Target Center on Thursday evening, when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves and Anthony Edwards.
