Casemiro could leave Manchester United and land in Saudi Arabia
This season, Manchester United has encountered considerable difficulty thus far. This is the case, given their elimination from both the Champions League and Europe and their relegation from the Premier League standings.
Certain players are already in pursuit of alternative opportunities, while others who have served as pillars have decided to depart or are at the very least considering the possibilities presented by the transfer window. A case that stands out is that of Casemiro, who is contemplating a change of scenery after receiving a significant offer from Saudi soccer. Similar to every proposition put forth by the Saudi Pro League, this one is extremely lucrative, but it may also motivate Manchester United to initiate a comprehensive squad restructuring, possibly commencing with a coaching change. A potential departure of Casemiro would generate considerable media attention, given that he was the most valuable acquisition of the previous campaign. Despite a diminished performance this season, primarily attributable to injuries, his presence continues to be significant among United supporters.
In the summer of 2022, the midfielder was transferred to Old Trafford for a sum that, contingent on various factors, could approximate 70 million euros. Although directors are currently attempting to recover a portion of that investment, the cost of his services will not approach that sum.
Sancho could join Leipzig
Jadon Sancho could join RB Leipzig according to Bild. The winger has been frozen out by Erik ten Hag since September. Any deal is being complicated by Sancho’s £17million-a-year wages, however.
Dortmund enquire for Reguilon
Borussia Dortmund have enquired for Manchester United full-back Sergio Reguilon – according to The Mirror. The left-back is on loan from Tottenham so any negotiations would need to be done between Spurs and the German club.
Varane is hopeful of an extension
Raphael Varane is hopeful that the club will activate the one-year contract extension within his current contract. The center-back had thought the club wаnted to force him out of the club after being dropped by the side, according to the Manchester Evening News. But a recall to the side against Bayern has given him confidence that he still has a future with the club.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s £1.25bn stake in Manchester United could be confirmed before Christmas, Mike Keegan tells It’s All Kicking Off… but what does it meаn for January signings and Old Trafford upgrades?
Keegan stated, “The words spoken to me in the coming days were that the anticipation remаins that it will be declared before Christmas.”A reliable source in the United States informs me that the next few days are feasible.”The approval procedure will require an additional six to eight weeks. United supporters may conclude that the transfer window is no longer an option.”As far as I am aware, Manchester United will not make any significant moves during the transfer window; this has nothing to do with the takeover.” Regarding Financial Fair Play and the balance sheet, this is the case.”According to sources, the following business can be anticipated: Jadon Sancho on loan, pending a suitable transfer opportunity; and Donny van de Beek on loan.””It’s not as if this is an unannounced matter; Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s group does not have all these players lined up when they arrive.”A £250 million commitment for infrastructure development, including Old Trafford, which has been neglected in recent years, accompanies Ratcliffe’s appointment.
However, Keegan has cautioned fans expecting enormous change that £250m won’t go that far.
‘United went away in 2022 and got the architects to come up with a load of proposals for Old Trafford – and that was for everything. Including knocking it down and starting again,’ he said.
‘They went away and did that and came back with all the different proposals at a cost of the north of a billiоn quid for some of them.
‘£250m is not enough now, according to people I’ve spoken to, is not enough to knоck dоwn the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand given the increases in costs and what that would entail.
