Meet the only Big Shirley truck that showcases Hassan Whiteside’s playability

Aroldis Chapman will soon be strutting through New York’s streets, making him hard to miss. The Yankees closer currently owns a six-wheel Jeep with Chapman’s “The Cuban Missile” insignia and an exterior made of black Kevlar and an interior made of red cloth.

Joe Ghattas, the owner of South Florida Jeeps, told The Post that the car is a “monster.” It is massive, loud, and repulsive to the senses.

Chapman came into the custom-made goods company two months ago looking for “something really wild,” claims Ghattas. They did so, according to TMZ’s initial claim, for a cost of $150,000.

All of Ghattas’ recommendations received strong support from Chapman, who also added his own distinctive touch by demanding Kevlar lining. Ghattas and his team manually built the rest of the SUV after cutting in half a Jeep frame, extending it by four feet, and adding an additional axle. It is fully equipped inside and sports a twin-turbo diesel engine with 600 horsepower.

He recently came to try it out, according to Ghattas. He has a limited command of English, but he was grinning from ear to ear. “This is f—ing awesome!” he exclaimed.

Hassan Whiteside and Scott Disick’s Jeeps were among those given special treatment by the company.

When the Yankees report for their second spring training session on Wednesday, Chapman, who has been bulking up in preparation for the 2020 season, is expected to arrive in New York this week. Since the new car has six-wheel drive, Ghattas claimed it is “unstuckable,” even if there may not be many opportunities for off-roading, Chapman should be well protected while traveling to Yankee Stadium.
