Katy Perry paid $18 mιllιon for the home she owned in Beverly Hills, California. The five-bedroom, six-bathroom house was initially listed by the pop musician and “American Idol” judge, 37, in late March for little under $19.5 mιllιon, Mansion Global previously reported.
Despite not receiving her initial asking price, Ms. Perry will still turn a profit on the transaction, which closed on Friday. According to PropertyShark records, she purchased the home in 2017 for close to $18 mιllιon through a trust connected to her business manager, Jeff Hinkle. Due to the lack of available public property records, Mansion Global was unable to identify the buyer.
The modern home, which is described as being in “the exclusive guarded celebrity enclave of Hidden Valley Road in Beverly Hills,” has a “sky-lit entry gallery, step-down living room with fireplace and views of expansive lawn, infinity pool, and spectacular trees,” according to the listing with Brett Lawyer of Hilton & Hyland. When asked for remark, he did not respond right away.
According to the listing, there is a quarter-mile long, tree-lined driveway and around an acre of well groomed gardens beyond the gate. Additionally, there are private hiking trails, a pool, and a dining terrace outside.
According to selling images, the interiors are spacious and light thanks to numerous French doors and floor-to-ceiling windows. Stenciling, blue paneling, and textured wall treatments give unеxpеctеd design aspects to the home.
According to the description, the main bedroom is painted a dusty blue and features a fireplace, marble bathroom, double closets, and a garden patio. The description mentioned a health center with a gym, sauna, cold plunge pool, and shower, as well as an eat-in kitchen, cinema and family room, and three additional bedrooms with the potential for one more.
