Mario Balotelli, the former Manchester City striker renowned for his fascination with high-end vehicles, has bid adieu to his cherished Ferrari and Lamborghini, signaling a waning affection for Տᴜpeгcars.
Over the years, Balotelli amassed a striking collection of lavish automobiles, becoming synonymous with opulent car ownership. Yet, his ardor for these extravagant machines has ebbed, prompting him to not only part with his Ferrari and Lamborghini but also consider the sale of other vehicles from his assortment.
“In my garage, I still have an RSQ8, 500 Abarth, and GTR Nismo Nissan with 1400 hp. But I’m also selling the Abarth now,” Balotelli shared during an interview with the Italian podcast Blick.
Balotelli’s automotive journey has been marked by a series of impoundments, a staggering 27 in total, and a number of road incidents during his tenure in England. While he has sought to justify these occurrences, asserting that he wasn’t solely to blame for every mishap, Balotelli has now arrived at a juncture where his fervor for these luxury machines has dimmed.
At 32 years old, Balotelli, who has also graced Liverpool’s ranks, currently represents his 11th club in a vibrant career, having joined Swiss side Sion in the preceding summer. This transfer followed a heated altercation with manager Vincenzo Montella during their time at Adana Demirspor.
Although Balotelli made an impactful start at his new club, scoring in four out of his initial six league fixtures, his goal-scoring prowess in 2023 has been modest, with only one goal to his credit. Despite these on-field challenges, Balotelli гemɑi𝚗s steadfast in his belief in earning a place in the Italian national team. This determination was echoed in a cryptic social media post after being left out by coach Roberto Mancini.
However, the road ahead might be rugged for Balotelli’s national team aspirations. Sion is grappling with a challenging season, positioned second-bottom in Switzerland’s Տᴜpeг League, presenting a formidable hurdle for Balotelli’s resurgence under Mancini’s guidance.
