Kylie Jenner’s initial Calabasas residence has been put up for sale, marking five years since the beauty mogul acquired it at the age of 17.
The house, which encompasses five bedrooms and six bathrooms, is now listed at $3,599,000 — a notable increase from the reported $2.7 million Jenner paid for it in 2015. Handling the listing are April Lopez and Jay Ravnikar from The Agency.
In 2017, the founder of Kylie Cosmetics sold the property for $3.15 million, having owned it for two years. By that time, she had already moved into a new mansion in Hidden Hills, a property she purchased for nearly double the price in May 2016. These recent acquisitions overshadow her previous ones: an estate in Holmby Hills valued at $36 million and an undeveloped property previously owned by Miley Cyrus worth $15 million.
TMZ was the first to report the listing of her 4,851-square-foot starter home on Friday.
As indicated in the listing, the residence is “crafted for a lifestyle that embraces both grand-scale entertaining and private moments.”
The property, influenced by Tuscan aesthetics, boasts an expansive outdoor living area featuring a pool and a lounge zone.
The interiors, designed by renowned decorator Jeff Andrews, who has worked with celebrities like Kaley Cuoco and Kylie’s sister Khloe Kardashian, showcase an open-concept dining space adjoining a contemporary kitchen, with French doors leading to the exterior.
On the upper level, the master suite includes a sitting area, a monochromatic bathroom, and a walk-in closet exclusively dedicated to footwear.
Additionally, there’s an optional sixth bedroom that Kylie transformed into an “ultra-luxe glam room” with a lit vanity, mirrored walls, and bespoke drawers.
At just 22 years old, Kylie has amassed an impressive real estate portfolio. In 2018, she and Travis Scott, her partner with whom she shares a 2-year-old daughter named Stormi, jointly purchased a $13.5 million mansion, splitting the cost reportedly. During the same period, she discreetly sold a neighboring property next to her $12 million Hidden Hills residence for $6.7 million, according to Variety.
Before divesting the Hidden Hills home, Kylie invested over $27 million in total on four different properties within a span of just two years.
In April, PEOPLE magazine confirmed that the reality star secured the Holmby Hills estate, with sources in the real estate industry indicating that Kylie acquired it for $36.5 million, significantly below the initial asking price.
Constructed in August 2019, the estate is entirely new. Initially listed at $55 million and later adjusted to $45,950,000 on April 3, the extensive compound spans 0.83 acres, offering seven bedrooms and 14 bathrooms, along with a generous 20-car parking capacity for Kylie’s collection of luxury vehicles.
