From Staten Island’s Crown to Brooklyn’s Heights: Pete Davidson’s Loft Story

It feels like only a few months have passed since we reported on the news of Pete Davidson’s departure from his mother’s basement to a lavish $1.2M  bachelor pad by the waterfront.

Yet now, the former Saturday Night Live cast member is already in the process of selling his luxurious waterfront condominium, a purchаse he made during the peak of his whirlwind relationship with reality TV star Kim Kardashian. This move marks his farewell to Staten Island as he sets his sights on a new residence in Brooklyn.

For those not acquainted with Davidson’s background, his father, a firefighter, tragically lost his life while saving individuals during the 9/11 World Trade Center incident. The comedian has consistently been open about his experiences and mentаl health, gaining significant recognition in recent years through his candid humor.

While Davidson encountered his share of challenges while growing up, he has managed to establish a reputation for himself and frequently incorporated his personal narrative to entertain and inspire his audiences. Following eight seasons on Saturday Night Live, he made the decision to exit the show, directing his focus toward his comedy and acting pursuits. He secured roles in productions like The SuiciԀe Squad and the highly acclaimed slasher film Bodies Bodies Bodies.

Admittedly, his personal life frequently garners more attention than his accomplishments. Yet, rather than discussing his relationship status, we’re here to address a different question that often arises from fans: Where does Pete Davidson currently reside?

Presently, Pete Davidson has taken up residence in Brooklyn, residing in an upscale rental. Despite being born and raised in Staten Island, Davidson initially aimed to remain close to his roots by acquiring his first property—a two-bedroom waterfront condominium for which he paid $1.2 million in 2021—in the same borough.

However, it didn’t take long for the Staten Island native to grow weary of the lengthy commute to the city. Consequently, he decided to put his property up for sale and make Brooklyn his new home.

In an interview with NBCLX host Tabitha Lipki, Pete Davidson joyfully announced, “I am moving to Brooklyn. I am very excited,” attributing his choice to the prolonged travel time required to traverse the bridge from Staten Island.

True to his words, the King of Staten Island has now become a Brooklyn resident, reportedly renting a sprawling, recently renovated loft with stunning views of New York City, all for a monthly rent of $30,000.

The residence in question is a penthouse loft spanning 4,500 square feet, featuring arched windows that offer panoramic vistas of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline. It’s situated in the trendy Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn.

Pete Davidson’s inaugural abode was a luxurious waterfront condominium on Staten Island. In 2021, he confirmed his departure from his mother’s home and selected a condo unit not far from his original abode.

Leaving his native Staten Island wasn’t an immediate option due to Judd Apatow—an acclaimed director/producer—dubbing him the King of Staten Island in a 2020 comedy-drаmа loosely inspired by Davidson’s personal journey.

The upscale condo, secured at a cost of $1.2 million, rests by the waterfront, affording picturesque views of the Manhattan skyline. It boasts two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and ample modern living space.

As characterized in its original listing as the “epitome of luxurious living,” this upscale apartment was the perfect choice for the self-proclaimed “King of Staten Island.”

Exhibiting a contemporary-coastal aesthetic, the home’s open floor plan seamlessly combines the living area, dining space, and kitchen. It’s outfitted with modern furnishings, including a Jacuzzi tub that likely came in handy during Pete’s brief, widely covered romance with Kim Kardashian in 2022. Kim was frequently seen visiting Pete’s condo during their time together.

The apartment’s abundant natural light, facilitated by high ceilings and expansive windows, contributes to its cozy and inviting atmosphere.

Among the property’s highlights is the airy outdoor terrace, an ideal setting for hosting guests. Accessible from both the living area and master bedroom, this space features a glass balcony that offers unobstructed views of the surroundings, rendering it the standout feature of Pete Davidson’s residence. It provides the perfect vantage point to savor the perks of waterfront living.

In late 2022, Davidson listed his Staten Island residence for sale, setting the price at $1.3 million for this waterfront condo within the upscale Accolades building.
