Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are ready to bid farewell to their initial residence in Beverly Hills.
Following their move to a new expansive abode within the same city, the pair is now listing their original dwelling for a price approaching $9 million. The property is co-marketed by real estate experts Matt and Josh Altman from Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles at Douglas Elliman, who unveiled the property’s images on their Instagram, along with Dalton Gomez from Compass. Dalton Gomez is in a relationship with pop sensation Ariana Grande.
Bieber made his acquisition of the house in March 2019 after an extended period of house hunting with Baldwin, as confirmed by a real estate . The house, spanning 6,132 square feet, was initially listed for $8.995 million and Bieber managed to secure it for $8.5 million.
Dubbed “The Tropics,” the residence was originally built in 1932 but underwent a comprehensive 18-month renovation in 2017. This transformation resulted in the blend of Hollywood allure and relaxed California style that the property currently boasts, as explained by a real estate source in 2019 who stated, “This is an exceptionally distinctive property.”
The “I Don’t Care” singer, renowned for his distinctive artistic tastes, adorned the dwelling with exclusive artworks, including a staircase lined with skateboards and arcade games like the Suρer Shot. In October of the prior year, he even inquired if anyone would be interested in “making an offer” for the extravagant abode he shares with his spouse. This appeal was accompanied by numerous snapshots of the residence’s interior on Instagram.
“I believe I might want to sell my Beverly Hills home. Who’s interested?” captioned the singer alongside one of the images. “I’ll even include all the furniture. Put forth an offer.”
Comprising five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, the mansion stands on a cul-de-sac adjacent to the $175 million estate of Amazon magnate Jeff Bezos.
Within the home, one can find white oak floors and kitchen cabinets, as well as sizable steel-framed windows. The communal spaces encompass a living room with a fireplace, a formal dining area, a poolside patio, and an open kitchen furnished with a premium range of appliances.
The principal bedroom showcases a vaulted ceiling with exposed timber beams and a marble fireplace. Its ensuite bathroom features a soaking tub, dual vanities, and an expansive shower. Additionally, there’s a capacious walk-in dressing area.
On the lower level, an Art Deco-themed bar and a soundproof screening room, influenced by the nearby Beverly Hills Hotel, can be found.
Outside, the property highlights an infinity-edge swimming pool and a cabana enveloped by olive trees. A gated courtyard with a secluded backyard, containing amenities such as a barbecue, fireplace, and towering hedges, is also part of the landscape.
August witnessed the “Yummy” vocalist and his model spouse finalizing the purchаse of an 11,145-square-foot, 7-bedroom, 10-bathroom estate in Beverly Park, according to a real estate source quoted by PEOPLE.
“The house was initially listed at $27,250,000, however, Bieber settled for $25.8 million,” the source remarked, highlighting the 2.5-acre property’s “extraordinary privacy, manicured lawns, infinity pool, and tennis court.”
Bieber and Baldwin officially became a couple in a New York City courthouse ceremony in September 2018, shortly after their engagement. They subsequently commemorated their union with a grander celebration on September 30, 2019, against the backdrop of a sunset at the Montage Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, South Carolina, surrounded by close friends and family.
Additionally, the duo also maintains a residence in Ontario, Canada, situated near Bieber’s hometown of Stratford.
