Burna Boy is satisfied with his beautiful home in Lagos, Nigeria

When Burna is at home, he enjoys relaxing in his sunken garden. Akose Enebeli, speaking to AD, describes him as a warm and open person, despite his busy schedule, and Enebeli drew inspiration from this aspect of Burna’s personality.

The house is designed as a single structure with two distinct areas. Damini Ogulu has a private cinema and multiple lounges in his living space where he can rest and unwind, while Burna Boy has his studio for recording and collaborating with producers.

Thanks to a spacious window in the living room adjoining the pool area, you can enjoy the outdoors while staying in the comfort of air conditioning, providing a seamless visual connection, according to Enebeli.

A well-equipped modern kitchen is a must for the singer and his guests, and Burna takes advantage of hosting when his busy schedule allows.

Inside the home, all-white walls were chosen. Burna adorned the space with various artworks, including a half horse marble sculpture, a female bust, and large golden insect pieces acquired from Lagos’s Throne of Grace, along with a bicycle art piece from Atelier 225.

In Burna’s home, few rooms have traditional doors, with many spaces opening up to one another, creating a continuous floorplan. There’s always room for one more at the dinner table when friends are over.

Burna’s home reflects his passion for music and art, as inspiration can strike at any moment. He has made a conscious effort to support local artisans, such as incorporating trumpet lamps from Dulin Gifts in Lagos.

Many rooms in the house feature lush elements inspired by nature, as Burna finds solace in greenery.

Outdoor lounge areas furnished with eco-friendly upcycled furniture are a staple in Burna’s household. The red oil drum furniture from Atelier 225 in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, serves as a reminder of his Port Harcourt roots, where crude oil drilling is a daily occurrence.

One of the private outdoor lounges, adorned with plants and furniture from Atelier 225, provides a tranquil escape.

Burna Boy’s preferred relaxation spot is filled with vinyl records gifted by his grandfather, along with a record player and family photos. He describes this space as a source of motivation and a connection to his reality.

In the vinyl room, there is deliberately no television among the lounge chairs. According to Enebeli, one can immerse themselves by simply gazing at the records and potentially finding inspiration.

When it’s time to illuminate the space, pendant fixtures from Precise Lighting in Lagos are employed. Barstools from Atelier 225 offer a comfortable perch for sipping drinks and enjoying the ambiance.
